7. Michael Emerson

Fans fell in love with Michael Emerson and his portrayal as the sometimes villainous, sometimes hero of Ben Linus from the show LOST. Emerson is now known for the character of Harold Finch on the show Person of Interest. Emerson would be a good fit as the Riddler because of his ability to present a natural creepiness with "questionable" motives. Emerson has amazing skill at carrying scenes with just his eyes and persona alone. Again, depending on the tone of the upcoming Gotham show, Emerson would once again fall into the category of a more grounded and realistic Riddler like someone from the Nolanverse. In many of the roles that he's played, Emerson has always done a superb job with dialect. He could pull of some of the Riddler's more smooth talking and intellectual abilities with his character portrayal.
