We'll start with a semi-realistic possibility that has, in fact, been in the news this past week, when Liam Neeson announced that he'd love to reprise the role of Ra's al Ghul that he made so brilliantly his own in Christopher Nolan's Batman Begins, and also briefly in The Dark Knight Rises. Granted, Neeson was talking about taking a part on the show Arrow (which will feature Ra's as the main antagonist of its third season) rather than Gotham, but given his older age relative to Batman's other characters, that would also make him one of the easiest to slot into this show's prequel narrative (with some make-up work to downplay Neeson's own age, of course). How Likely Is It?5/10. As Ra's is set to have a significant part in Arrow, Warner Bros. might not want to flood the market with too much of the character, and though it's easily possible he'll make a one-off appearance in Gotham, we won't count on Ra's having a role that impacts the story. Hopefully they'll be smart enough to ensure that whoever plays the character on Arrow would also play him on Gotham, as little things like this help enormously with world building should a cross-over story-line ever happen (unlikely though that is).
