Green Arrow: Every Trick Arrow Explained

5. The Glue Arrow

Green Arrow Nth Metal
DC Comics

In terms of incapacitating an opponent, one of the most proficient toys at Oliver Queen's disposal is his glue arrow.

Consisting of a tip made out of a ball of industrial polymer, this particular trick arrow is a sneaky little blighter. Designed to look like one of Ollie's more regular explosive arrows - we say that like carrying around explosive arrows is normal, of course - the glue arrow is meant to lull foes into a false sense of security. While the bad guys and gals will be expecting something on the explosive side, the Emerald Archer instead unleashes a glue-based attack.

This glue arrow can stop the majority of Green Arrow's enemies in their tracks, whether that's gluing them to an object or even simply just covering their mouth with this sticky weapon - as shown in action here against the hulking Brick.

Whilst Ollie has been known to be vicious to his opponents over the years, even he's not sadistic enough to leave people all glued up, mind - which is why he carries a liquid solution with him that can melt the glue once he's obtained his desired result.
