Hannibal: 10 Greatest 'Holy Sh*t!' Moments So Far

3. Cello Throat

Episode: Fromage One thing you can never accuse Hannibal of is a lack of class. Fromage features what may be the most strangely artistic of murders: a Cellist who has had his throat slit open and filled with a Cello, so he could be played like a musical instrument. While I am not sure this would make a single pleasant sounding note, something tells me the killer Tobias wouldn't care one way or another €“ he seemed more interested in the aesthetic qualities. And the most disturbing part about this moment? Will Graham sitting back in the audience of the theatre as if watching the killer "perform". This is as unsubtle a metaphor this show ever came up with for the voyeuristic nature of its violence and horror. We are sitting in the audience, watching Fuller and his writers play with a human violin, and it is am engrossing performance.
