His Dark Materials: Where You Recognise The Cast From

What a strange career Ruta Gedmintas has had. The British actress first made her name in The Tudors, playing Elizabeth Blount in the first season, but since then she's swung wildly between bit parts in recognisable projects to more prominent roles in utterly weird ones.

For example, you may well recognise Gedmintas from her recurring roles in Spooks, The Strain or The Borgias. None are absolute TV classics set to go down in history, but all three were pretty solid.

However, mixed in with that are Gedmintas' role in Miss Conception, a movie where Heather Graham desperately tries to get pregnant with her last fertile egg. Yep, really. From there Gedmintas featured in Stag, You Instead, Exteriors and A Street Cat Named Bob, about... well, you figure it out.
