Hows this for a romantic evening? In the midst of Claire and Yates burgeoning relationship, they return to Claires family home to find Elizabeth at deaths door. Initially, there doesnt seem to be much change in the mother-daughter relationship, but its interesting to see how quickly Elizabeth takes a liking to Yates (something Frank can never claimed to have achieved). It also says something for the trust that Claire has for Yates that he is the one to convince her to let her mother go. Its a pretty powerful moment between the two and cements the fact that the relationship is obviously more than just a quick fling.
