9. What Happens To Doug?

Serving Frank Underwood is Doug Stamper's raison d'être, so it's no surprise when he takes the fall for the death of Zoe Barnes.

That should spell the end of his political career (at the very least), but Stamper is such a key part of the show it's impossible to see him being kept out of proceedings for too long in Season 6.

Will Doug, who is a master of manipulation and intimidation, be able to work his way back into the fold? Will he once again team-up with Frank in whatever his future endeavours may be? And have we heard the last of the Zoe Barnes case now someone has assumed responsibility, or will Tom Hammerschmidt continue to go after Frank?

You'd think Doug will find some way of working with Frank again, because it's hard to imagine the character existing without his master. As for the Barnes case, it'd offer some real finality to see Frank finally face justice for it, but he has a knack for getting away with these things.
