7. Every Single Play In The Playbook
The Playbook is the prized possession of Barney Stinson. It shows us all the different “plays” that he uses to seduce women.
Although a bit problematic for today's standards, every single time the playbook is mentioned and/or something from the playbook is put into action, it conjurs just a bizarre image.
Some of the plays in the book involve him dressing up as a genie, putting up his phone number on national television, and even rescuing a cat and “returning it” to a woman who lost her pet. These plays are absolutely ridiculous, and they often show Barney in very hilarious scenarios.
It’s a strange blend of everyone else being completely normal, and Barney in a complicated web of lies that he has created, complete with matching costumes and various accents. Some of these moments are ones that fans of the show recall frequently, showing that they really stick in the minds of those that view them.
Though not the craziest scenes in the world, the absurdity of Barney throughout all of them is what makes them so great, and choosing just one of them would be impossible.
