After they had sex, instead of clearing things up with her, he simply left, leading her to create a website called tedmosebyisajerk.com. When Barney confronts her in a later episode, instead of clearing the air and apologizing as himself, he announces to an entire cafe of people to stay away from Ted Moseby.

If he was truly best friends with Ted, there would be no reason for him to assume his identity in order to get laid, and then tarnish his name with actions that were not his own. This is something that is unacceptable, and something that should not be forgotten.
