How I Met Your Mother: 10 Shadiest Things Barney Has Ever Done

Although this is not necessarily one instance of Barney doing something shady, it is definitely a great example of his worst qualities. There are so many times throughout the show that Barney is shown saying extremely rude things about plus-sized women.

He often talks about how he would never ever sleep with a "fatty", and often says women gaining weight is what makes him break up with them. This does not show Barney's best qualities, forcing the audience to remember that men like him actually do exist.

Another example of this is when he creates a prenup for his marriage with Quinn, putting in a clause that states that there will be weekly weigh-ins. This prenup also states that if she gains any weight, she will owe him money, but only if the weight shows up at the weekly weigh in.

The fact that he would truly find this behavior acceptable is really something that would make anyone sick to their stomach. Every woman is beautiful, and Barney makes anyone that is larger than a supermodel feel bad about their appearance. This is one hundred percent shady, even for Barney.
