One of Barney’s most hilarious partners throughout the series is Meg, or as we all know her, Crazy Meg. Meg is one of those very special girls that Barney seduces who believes they are something more than just a one-night stand.
After a pretty typical evening with Mr. Stinson, Meg believes she has found the love of her life. She ends up appearing in multiple episodes after this initial one, even being one of Robin and Barney’s top four fights of all time.
She is constantly found stalking Barney, proclaiming her love for him, and then Barney escaping somehow. Although this isn’t necessarily entirely Barney’s fault in this situation, the fact that this girl feels so vehemently about him is kind of endearing.
You cannot help but feel for this poor girl who has been manipulated by a master of deception, leading her to fall for him. She might be a little bit crazy, maybe a touch clingy, and a whole lot of bizarre, but she just wants love the same way any of us do.
