How I Met Your Mother: All Of Barney's Love Interests Ranked From Worst To Best

Wendy, known as Wendy the Waitress during the entire series, is one of Barney's one night stands that ends up being more than he intended.

After they flirt for a while, Barney declares that he will sleep with her, much to the dismay of his friends. They all warn him not to ruin the bar, and that sleeping with her would be a bad idea. Of course he doesn't listen, and they end up having what Barney thinks is a one-night stand.

Wendy however takes it to be something more serious, and begins treating him as though they are dating. This creates a tension in the whole group, and he decides that he must break up with her, and she takes the breakup very maturely.

However, throughout the rest of the series, Barney is convinced that Wendy the Waitress is trying to poison him somehow, throwing drinks and food away, and interacting with her in bizarre ways. Wendy was a wonderful and mature adult in this scenario, not ruining the bar for the group of regulars, and even still serving them most of the time.

She is a lovely woman, that honestly probably would've been a good match for Barney had he given her the chance.
