How I Met Your Mother: Every Wedding Episode Ranked Worst To Best

Stella and Ted were a couple which we all routed for from the start. From the very first episode where they met, Ted tried tirelessly to win over Stella and we were along with him for the ride, supporting his bold ambition. But unlike some of his other desperate attempts to woo a girl, this one actually worked, and so when this wedding arose we were full of excitement to finally see Ted achieve the happiness he deserved.

This, however, led to an incredible let down of an episode as we saw the jealous side of Stella with her not wanting Robin to be there, compromising a goodness of character and an understanding which had been built up from the moment we first met her.

While making for a great twist as Stella left Ted at the altar to be with Tony, we can’t even be outraged by the result as her choice made a lot of sense as she was able to fix her family structure. This leaves us with only sadness and a rock-bottom for the character we know and love.
