How To Get Away With Murder: How They Got Away With The Murders
4. Wallace Mahoney
In a running theme for grey haired white men in the series, Mahoney was a very unpleasant character, at various points proving himself to be outwardly racist and misogynistic. It would also later transpire that he is Wes Gibbins’ grandfather.
In a shockingly abrupt moment from the season 2 finale, Wes approaches Wallace to try to confirm his suspicions about their familial connection. Wes at the time believed he was about to confront his father but it emerged that would actually be his son, Charles. Before this can happen, the businessman is shot in the head, apparently in some kind of carefully planned sniper attack. Guess who? Right again, in season 3 it is revealed to be another one for the multi-talented Frank, claiming revenge for Mahoney’s involvement in the death of Annalise’s unborn child.
Again, with authorities in the dark about much of the the backstories of multiple characters, it doesn’t seem there was ever any solid links to Frank from the outside.
