How To Get Away With Murder: How They Got Away With The Murders

3. Emily Sinclair

Emily Sinclair was the smarmy prosecutor who featured in the first two seasons. She was initially introduced leading the case against Nate Lahey as he was falsely accused of killing Sam Keating.

Asher’s father Judge William Millstone committed suicide in season 2 after a case is opened against him for his own legal cover-ups, including those to protect his son. Sinclair makes the unwise decision to taunt Asher about this not long after. Asher is equipped with a car and runs over the prosecutor as the red mist descends.

The usual suspects work together to find a patsy for this particular crime. After conspiring to move the body, Catherine Hapstall, who was to be fair not a great person in her own right, is framed. Having partially helped facilitate the torture and murder of her adopted parents due to her romantic relationship with the her killer adopted brother Caleb, the gang felt they were somewhat justified as she probably deserved prison time for something.
