Invincible: Every Main Character Ranked Worst To Best

Relationships can be tricky. It's easy to pour all your energy into them but find yourself constantly falling under the hurdles of family, work and responsibilities. So, chucking crime-fighting into the mix is always a recipe for disaster. Comic-book fans have become accustomed to this in superhero love interests, but Amber does something excitingly new.

This bold and confident character gets you hooked right away, as her self-assuredness is a charisma magnet. Her relationship with Mark becomes a great fixture in the show, as she constantly challenges him to make him better but still stands out as a compelling character in her own right.

Plus, she flipped a specific trope on its head, as when Mark finally admitted his identity, she didn't care. Viewers are so used to seeing the grand romantic reveal as a moment of forgiveness, but Amber had already figured it out, making her seem like a cut above the rest.

The biggest letdown for Amber was the fact that she felt unimportant in the grander plot. She played a pivotal role in the average life of Mark but, by default, felt excluded from some of the more exciting narratives in play.
