3. It's "Only" 10 Episodes Long

This might seem like a back-handed compliment, and to a point it is, but it was a mightily smart decision to chop season two's episode order down from 13 to 10 episodes.

Fans have been routinely complaining about these arbitrary 13-episode seasons bloating out even quality shows like Jessica Jones. It's all the more frustrating as it's clearly only a result of Netflix's effort to expand their catalogue of streaming hours regardless of whether it suits the material or not.

This new batch of episodes may have many of its own problems, but it's at least a breezier package with three less episodes to slog through.

It honestly wouldn't be a bad route for all future Marvel Netflix show to go, because 10 episodes is clearly enough to tell a compelling superhero story while cutting down on the fat somewhat.
