Now this theory isn't just a fun one to discover, but it also genuinely could be the manner in which the show ends.
The show has always consistently featured court-room drama, as The Gang are inherently criminal and find themselves in terrible situations almost every single day. Therefore this idea proposes the notion that the entire show is actually The Gangs testimony in a court case shown in flashbacks.
We know that they love to embellish and overly-explain things, so of course if they were being sued by every person that they have wronged they would explain every single detail.
There is evidence to support this in the fact that almost every episode starts with a time-stamp. It could even provide context for the more outlandish chapters as they could be gross exaggerations given to make a point.
The show could totally end this way, but since it does seem surprisingly predictable it may be better that it doesn't. Still it would definitely feel like an Always Sunny way to go out.
