It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia: Every Season Ranked Worst To Best (So Far)
1. Season Four
Where to even start with Sunny's fourth season? I mean, just look at the episodes: "The Gang Solves the Gas Crisis" is a great display of the gang's dynamic, as well as Charlie's iconic wildcard antics; "Mac and Charlie Die" shows Mac and Charlie at their most bizarre and uncaged; and "The Gang Gets Extreme: Makeover Edition" finds the gang destroy a family's home.
Then there's "Sweet Dee Had a Heart Attack", in which Charlie gives his unbeatable Pepe Silvia rant, and "The Nightman Cometh", wherein Charlie writes a deeply disturbing musical to impress The Waitress, much to her chagrin. This is often seen as the best show of the show, and it's clear to see why.
Like season five, season four is spotless joy front to back. Every character is on top form, showing audiences just how odd they can be and how dangerous her misadventures can get. Here's to hoping the next few seasons are just as spectacular as this.
