It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia Season 13: Every Episode Ranked Worst To Best

7. The Gang Does A Clip Show

It's Always Sunny Season 13
FX

This spin on the classic sitcom trope of filling a season out with a clip show, full of nostalgic flashbacks to better times, does exactly what you'd expect from It's Always Sunny: the Gang mis-remembers their own lives, and start altering the present, which completely blurs the lines of reality.

The self-serving nature of Frank, remembering himself as having hair and long legs, makes for some hilarious sight gags, and the anger and confusion of Dennis leading the group through the episode is Howerton at the top of his game.

The thing holding this instalment back is its general randomness and disjointed plot, which seems to get away from the writers a fair bit before the episode wraps. However, the playfulness of the concept and the brilliant re-writing of Sunny history does provide consistent laughs.
