6. Man Mountain Marko
During the case in which Jessica uncovers the identity of Captain America, the target that she has been tasked with investigating is murdered. The woman is found strangled to death and the perpetrator is claimed by Matt Murdock to be a very large man with very large hands. And you know what they say about guys with large hands Arthritis. The assassin is a man named Man Mountain Marko (that is not a typo), a thug who gained super-strength after abusing an experimental horse steroid (also not a typo), which did wonders for Ultimate Warrior. Brian Bendis clearly sensed the thematic elements of the character and had him come after Jessica, portraying Marko as a man who clearly enjoys his work a little too much. While strangling Jessica, Marko says: "Best part of these work-for-hire gigs? Is that after Im done with you here - - I dont have to hand you over After Im done with you, I can take your lifeless body out somewhere remote and I can do whatever I want with you. Then youll really find out why they call me Man Mountain Marko." Marko ends up severely damaging his liver due to steroid abuse and being eaten by a sentient dragon named Lao, which is exactly what a necrophiliac juicer with the worlds best pornstar name deserves.
