Jessica Jones: 8 Things We Need To See In Season 3

Putting aside the numerous encounters with Spiderman villains and other famous Marvel heads, there was one pivotal comic event that the series has not yet covered. And that is Jessica's pregnancy. ‘Who is the father?’ you ask. The answer, as far as the comic storyline goes, is Mr Luke Cage himself.

Marvel adaptations never precisely follow the lore of the comics, as this would zap any element of surprise. And in TV world, Jessica is currently infatuated with another man. But who knows how that will go, and what may happen instead?

Being so down and out with all her friends means that Jessica has very little to lose. But what if that changed? What if having a new-found maternal responsibility became apparent, and shifted her character's entire ethos with permanent resolve? Being so headstrong, resilient and determined surely means she has the makings of a good mother. But against what odds? In any case, it will up-the-anti for Season 3, no end.

And in terms of er, inheritance of power? Let's just hope for Jessica's sake, that the series doesn't tackle the recent ‘Purple Daughter’ comic story arc.
