Marvel's Jessica Jones: 13 Big Questions After Binge-Watching Season 1

12. Are We Going To See More Of Her As A Superhero?

As mentioned previously, Jessica Jones very much isn't a superhero. She's far too complicated for all that hero lark, or so she believes. However, there are allusions to her superhero past, topped off with the look at the classic Jessica Jones costume and this superb exchange between Jessica and Trish: "Jewel is a great superhero name." "Jewel is a stripper's name, a really slutty stripper. And if I wear that thing, you're going to have to call me cameltoe." While all of that may be true, the prospect of Jessica Jones becoming a fully-fledged superhero is an intriguing one, and also quite realistic. She wants to help people, and with Kilgrave gone she may actually be able to properly start doing that. For the time being, that's going to be through Alias Investigations (am I the only one thinking this show and Angel are spiritual cousins?), but even though it likely won't be in spandex, will she one day become a real superhero?
