Kenneth Mitchell Returns To Star Trek Discovery For Season 3 - AS A HUMAN!

We've seen him in Klingon makeup for three different characters and finally we'll see his face.

Kenneth Mitchell has already notched three character appearances under his belt in Star Trek Discovery alone, appearing in season one as the villainous Kol, before returning in season two as Kolsha and Tenavik. Not content with that, he will be returning for Discovery's third season as a human character, finally out of the heavy makeup!

Chasing the likes of Jeffrey Combs and Vaughan Armstrong for different appearances in the franchise, this fourth appearance in less than four years puts him into the lead for number of characters introduced in a short space of time.

Mitchell revealed in 2018 that he is battling ALS and, just days after the news broke, he appeared on Star Trek: The Cruise, now wheelchair bound. However, his scenes for Discovery's third season were filmed before this appearance.

He had this to say about the upcoming role:

“It’s beautiful, and I’m excited for the fans to meet him. I am also thankful for the continued support of Alex (Kurtzman), Michelle Paradise, Olatunde (Osunanmi), Jonathan Frakes and everyone at Secret Hideout, who made it happen for me.”

Already a fan favourite, it will be brilliant to see him back on screen again - this time, showing his smiling face to the world!
