3. Clark Returns
When Clark, an official for Division 3, was engulfed in a giant explosion at the end of Chapter 1 and not heard from again for the rest of the season, it felt safe to assume that he had gone to meet his maker.
What no one assumed, however, was that he would make his grand return at the very end of Chapter 7 to meet the gang when they finally got back to Summerland.
Considering that the vast majority of his face had been horribly burned and he now walked with a limp, we finally got one of our assumptions correct. That assumption being that he was just a little bit irritated with our heroes.
Then, at the beginning of Chapter 8, we are given the details of his recovery. We learn that not only his face, but most of his body had suffered the same burns and that he lost one of his eyes in the process. As one would imagine, he then swore revenge on Summerland, and made his appearance in a moment that shocked just about everyone.
