4. Oliver Conducts A Gruesome Silent Film
In an effort to break the illusion of Clockworks created by Farouk that our heroes have been trapped in, Oliver begins to fight back with his own telepathic powers. He does this, however, in the form of psychic musical conduction.
What he doesn't realize is that he is currently conducting the score of a rather violent silent film. As Syd and Kerry prepare to do battle in the halls of Clockworks with Lenny, her legion of zombies, and The Eye, everything turns black and white as a result of the aforementioned reality glasses and all sounds, save for Oliver's music, is cut out.
Every time one of the character speaks, the screen cuts away to an old-timey dialogue card to show what they've said. During this sequence, Lenny makes it abundantly clear that her goal is simply murder.
Syd and Kerry escape unharmed, but The Eye is not so lucky. We see his body telekinetically lifted and crushed like the world's most terrifying contortionist while his eyes pop out of his head. Meanwhile, his physical body, which is back at David's childhood home, begins to bleed profusely from the face.
