So, to set the stage: David has recently escaped from Clockworks via the aforementioned body switching; and goes to stay the night at his older sister's house. After an incident in which David speaks to an apparition of Lenny and accidentally breaks his childhood lamp, he decides to call it a night.

We are then treated to another dream, which is utterly baffling in terms of how out of nowhere it is. What we see is a rather intricate dance number featuring David, Syd, and the patients and orderlies of Clockworks alike. The move in perfect synchronization with rhythm that is on-point to a rather catchy piece of acoustic music. Moreover, the man who lives inside the vines makes another appearance in the background.

Once it ends, it is never referred back to, nor does David seem to think much of it.
