17. Syd And Young David's Adventure In Time
In an effort to get David to stop subconsciously resisting to memory work, it's decided that he should be mildly sedated before their next session.
Syd decides to tag along for this particular mission, and soon realizes that due to the sedation, the physical form that will accompany them is David as a child (his most basic mental state). However, when things go awry, young David flees, leaving Syd to chase after him. They run seamlessly through adult David's memories, such as David doing drugs with Lenny and, ultimately, adult David being intimate with a woman (presumably his ex-girlfriend, Philly) while young David hides behind the bed.
Syd has to keep her composure as she talks the child out of his hiding spot, before the to flee, only to be chased into air vents by the Angriest Boy, who then transforms into the devil with the yellow eyes. All things considered, a fairly uncomfortable situation.
