16. Melanie Gets Her Hand Crushed
After the aforementioned failed mission, everyone manages to wake up except for Melanie Bird, who still finds herself trapped within David's memories.
She wanders through his childhood home and discovers the infamous book; The Worlds Angriest Boy In the World. She begins to flip through it and read the story before the book slams on her hand with great force, trapping her. When she finally manages to break free, we are shown a rather vivid shot of her hand; which looks less like it had a children's book slammed on it and more like it had been crushed by sledgehammer.
To make matters worse, the devil with the yellow eyes appear behind her, in arguably its most terrifying form yet as it disgustingly grows to a massive height, before Melanie violently awakes back at Summerland.
