Legion: 9 Ways It's A Totally Unique Comic Book TV Show

6. The Sound Editing Is Insane

I mentioned in the previous entry that Legion is always buzzing, and that is true in more ways than one.

While the series is incredibly alive and active, there's also going to be a buzzing in your ears while you're watching it.

The sound editing and mixing isn't done in a way that makes each one clear and distinct, but rather the various noises we hear throughout the show - the soundtrack, which kicks off with The Who's Happy Jack; the dialogue; the voices in David's head; the other amplified sounds of the surrounding - are blended together to dizzying, disorientating effect, in a way that really helps you understand what's going on inside David's head.

Most shows of this ilk don't play around too much with sound - Luke Cage being the obvious exception, and that was more to do with the soundtrack - and certainly don't deliver anything like this.
