10. Ptonomy
Of all Legion's characters, Ptonomy feels like the one you would most likely find in the mainstream X-Men movie universe - a mutant primarily distinguishable by his mutant power without too much in the way of a well-defined personality.
That was definitely true in season 1 and season 2 continued to be unsure about what to do with him. It seemed that Ptonomy had simply been written out when the delusion creature used him as a host and killed him in Chapter 15, but he was ultimately revealed to have survived in Division 3's mainframe.
It was a smart twist - the man whose mind is practically a computer is now an artificial intelligence - but the rest of the season didn't seem too interested in exploring the consequences of this or using it to help flesh Ptonomy out. Hopefully season 3 will finally find a place for the character in the narrative.
