Lily James And Sebastian Stan To Star In Pam & Tommy Sex Tape Series
Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee's 1995 scandal to be spotlighted in new miniseries.
Not only is the infamous Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee sex tape scandal being turned into a miniseries, but the project has found its lead duo.
First reported by Variety, Cinderella star Lily James and MCU favourite Sebastian Stan have signed up to headline this eight-episode offering. Additionally, I, Tonya’s Craig Gillespie will direct the series, with Seth Rogan and Evan Goldberg producing through their Point Grey Pictures banner.
While the stolen sex tape will obviously be a major part of this currently untitled miniseries, the greater focus will be on the relationship between Pam and Tommy itself.
A whirlwind romance, the pair memorably got married in 1995 after having only known each other for 96 hours. Shortly after that marriage, a sex tape featuring the husband and wife duo was stolen and soon made its way out into the world via the Internet Entertainment Group distribution company. From there, a legal dispute followed before an agreement saw the tape made widely available for a subscription fee.
This isn’t actually the first time that the idea of spotlighting the relationship between Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee has arose, with Rogen and Goldberg previously making plans to have James Franco feature in just such a project.
At present, the current plan is for this miniseries to start filming next Spring.
