Locke & Key: Ranking Every Character From Worst To Best
5. Kinsey Locke
The middle sibling of the Locke family, Kinsey became a shell of what she once was when her father passed away, losing the will to carry on in just about every way imaginable. Though there were moments of promise for her through new relationships, the discovery of the Head Key gave her the opportunity to extract the fear that was holding her back altogether - and with that, she became a completely different person.
The character came to life for much of the season, capitalizing on those new relationships and becoming a formidable heroine in the family's never-ending dance with Dodge. Unfortunately, it wasn't all good for her as the decision forced a bunch of reckless decisions upon her - making it hard to like, trust or tolerate her at times. The desired effect? Probably. But it did run the risk of alienating audiences from the character altogether.
That being said, Emilia Jones' confident performance sold everything Kinsey did to perfection.
