Loki Episode 1: 5 Biggest Talking Points

2. The Avengers Are "Allowed" To Manipulate Time

The TVA have been around for centuries, monitoring the actions of every being and ensuring that they all act exactly as they should in order to maintain the "Sacred Timeline".

With that in mind, surely meddling with the past would constitute an action that is against the TVA's rules? You would think so, but apparently, the Avengers are the exception to that rule.

Avengers: Endgame saw Earth's Mightiest Heroes meddle with time in order to retrieve the Infinity Stones before Thanos and ultimately undo the actions from Avengers: Infinity War.

Loki actually mentions this when appealing to the TVA panel. However, they state that the Avengers' actions were "supposed to happen". Why?

How did the TVA decide that they were allowed to interfere with the regular flow of time? The idea of multiple realities needing to be monitored, in order to avoid a war across the multiverse, is understandable. It just doesn't seem fair that the heroes should be allowed to interfere with time as and when they please, just because three omnipotent beings deem it so.

Who are these TimeKeepers? Why do they make these rules? I'm sure that these questions will be answered over the coming weeks.
