Loki Episode 2: 8 Biggest Questions

1. Is Kang The Conqueror A Time Keeper?

Lady Loki Episode 2

Remember when everyone was certain that Mephisto was about to show up in WandaVision? Now, after a brief moment of thinking the same character would make an appearance in Loki thanks to the French stained glass windows in the first episode, thoughts are are now turning to Kang the Conqueror.

The time travelling villain is set to appear in Ant-Man & the Wasp: Quantumania, and would be a prime candidate to be the MCU's next big bad. There were theories that he could be introduced as early as Loki some time ago, since the series was always going to be playing with the idea of time, but now there is a more solid theory. Could Kang the Conqueror be one of the three Time Keepers?

The Time Keepers are those who created the TVA, and oversee the Sacred Timeline, constantly untangling the universe's vast puzzle of time. They have a seemingly close working relationship with Ravonna Renslayer, as Kang has done in the history of the comics, and are essentially the masters of all time.

While this would be a drastically different origin story for the character compared to the source material, there are enough parallels that it could make perfect sense. There is also no denying that one of the three Time Keepers from Miss Minutes' video looks strikingly similar to Jonathan Majors, the man set to bring Kang to the MCU. It may only be a brief cameo appearance, but could Loki be to Kang what The Avengers was to Thanos?
