Loki Episode Four: 10 Biggest Questions
6. Did Mobius Just Tease Blade And Morbius?
When the MCU first began, little easter eggs and nods to other characters were a huge deal. As the franchise went on into Phases Two and Three, these became less and less exciting as they were more expected than anything else.
However, Phase Four is slightly different. Since there are so many new properties and characters coming to the MCU over the next few years, the franchise can drop in these subtle hints as to what the future holds and fans can get genuinely excited, as it's nothing that they have seen before.
This happened in episode four of Loki. In a conversation had between Hunter B-15 and Mobius, the latter mused that Loki and Sylvie shouldn't be as tough to deal with as the Kree, Titans, and vampires they have dealt with previously.
This confirms for the first time the existence of vampires in the MCU, and took fans' minds directly to Blade, the character who will eventually be brought to the franchise by Mahershala Ali.
Even before that there is Jared Leto's Morbius. Whether or not this movie will exist inside the confines of the MCU is currently unclear. Actor Tyrese Gibson has reportedly claimed that it is, while it has since been reported that it isn't, and while there are images of Tobey Maguire's Spidey in the trailer, Michael Keaton will reprise his MCU role as Adrian Toomes in the movie.
All of this confusion could potentially be explained by a multiversal war that could be kicked off by the time Loki finishes its first season.
