Loki Episode Four: 10 Biggest Questions
5. Was There More To Sylvie's Plan?
When Loki was first brought in to the TVA as a consultant by Mobius, he was given a very specific task. He was there to find the Loki Variant that had been terrorising the TVA and its Minute Men for some time, and nothing more. This was soon revealed to be Sylvie, and by the end of the second episode, her plan was set in motion.
She had stolen numerous reset devices from the TVA, and used them all to essentially bomb the Sacred Timeline simultaneously. In the confusion, her plan was to infiltrate the TVA, find the Time Keepers, and destroy them as revenge for being taken away when she was just a girl.
Loki ruined this plan that had been years in the making, but if this was all she was going to do, it was actually a pretty poor scheme. To say that she bombed the Sacred Timeline, the TVA dealt with any and all Nexus events swiftly and apparently without incident.
There was no lasting damage or consequences, so did she really do all of this just for a tiny window to find the Time Keepers and kill them, without being spotted (which she was. Instantly)? Lokis are Gods of Mischief, but this seemed like a weak plan, particularly as it was years in the making.
Did she have something else planned that may come into play before the end of the series?
