Loki: Every Main Character Ranked From Worst To Best
5. Classic Loki
As the last two episodes of Loki barrelled towards its conclusion, and the opening of the MCU’s Multiverse, there were two characters that stole the show in each outing. Even a lack of screen time across the series in general didn't stop these two from stealing the show.
Episode five saw Loki and Sylvie take on Alioth in the Void, but if not for Classic Loki, they could never have been victorious. Richard E. Grant was the perfect man to portray an older version of Tom Hiddleston’s beloved character, and in just one episode, he blew audiences away and left them wanting more. Part of this was because he was just as Loki as the rest of the Variants in the Void, but also because of how he changed by the end.
The whole theme of the entire series was Loki battling to become a better person, but not being allowed to by the TVA. In the Void however, Nexus events couldn’t stop this Loki from taking the advice of Mobius and realizing that it’s never too late to change.
While Kid Loki and Alligator Loki ran away to live their life in the Void, Classic Loki and his wonderfully comic accurate costume stuck around and showed the true power that the Gods of Mischief are capable of. He inspired Loki and Sylvie, and finally fulfilled his glorious purpose. He fell, so that Loki and Sylvie could go forward, and couldn't have been happier about it.
