There were theories before the first episode of Loki even dropped on Disney+ that suggested there would be several different versions of the God of Mischief running around, one of which would be Lady Loki. This was correct to a degree, as Sylvie was really more of an original character inspired by the coming together of Lady Loki and Enchantress from the comics.

She brought to the series everything that encompassed a Goddess of Mischief – independence, authority, and style, as she hopped across the multiverse attacking the TVA as revenge for the organisation ruining her life. Instantly, her story resonated with audiences.

After her shocking introduction at the end of episode two, Sylvie was given episode three almost all to herself to allow her the time, development, and character building necessary to craft her into a special addition to the MCU, and from there it didn’t take her long to prove herself one of the strongest Lokis there is. She needed to do nothing more to prove what a badass she was, however her enchanting of Alioth, and forcing Loki to do it with her only made her a stronger character.

She was powerful, confident in that power, and would stop at nothing to bring the TVA to its knees. Now that her life’s work has been completed, it will be interesting to see where her MCU journey takes her in the future.
