Loki: Every Variant Ranked Worst To Best

5. "Vote Loki" Loki

Now, this was a nice slice of the malevolent and sinister Loki we'd come to know and love.

President Loki - plucked from the four-part 2016 comic "Vote Loki" - was a nostalgic peek into the original version of Hiddleston's character, as he was vicious, treacherous and managed to accumulate a tonne of power. While that would end up biting him in the back (or the hand, more specifically), it didn't stop him from being awesome.

He's easily the Loki with the least amount of screen time, but he makes such great use of it that it's hard to deduct points from him. While seeing our version of the character develop and change for the better is important, it was refreshing to see Hiddleston return to the overly evil performance that made him famous.

This Loki is a perfect example of how returning to the formula can work, so long as you keep it brief. However, while it was fun to see this branch of the character back, he can't rank higher thanks to his lack of screen time and the fact that he's more of what we've already seen.

He was a fun taste of an old-school MCU Loki, but just an appetiser, not a whole meal.
