Lost In Space Review: 5 Ups & 5 Downs

1. It Compellingly Sets Up Season 2

Lost In Space
Netflix

No spoilers here, but for all of the show's missteps, it does at least conclude with a highly intriguing, enigmatic setup for a second season, assuming Netflix moves forward with it (they gave Iron Fist a second season, so surely yes?).

Just as the season finale threatens to conclude on a blandly hopeful note, the Robinsons are thrown a major curve-ball that's sure to leave fans on agonised tenterhooks for whatever is to come.

The clever suspense of this climatic sequence is ultimately what the show needs more of in the future, and in the very least the tantalising final tease gives the writers plenty of possibilities, if they can simply regroup and put a little more thought into what comes next.
