Lost In Space Review: 5 Ups & 5 Downs

2. Christopher Lennertz's Sweeping Musical Score

While some might criticise Christopher Lennertz's musical score for sounding a little too familiar, it does boast an agreeably old-school, operatic sweep, which suits the show's hopeful, uplifting tone quite perfectly.

Lenertz is generally regarded as a bit of a journeyman composer for movies, but his previous work collaborating on the Mass Effect franchise ensured he was a great fit for this sort of material.

While not the most mind-blowingly unique or ambitious compositions, Lennertz's pieces accentuate the visuals exceptionally well, and try desperately well to imbue emotion into even the most flatly written and awkwardly acted moments.
