LOST's Jeremy Davies joins JUSTIFIED as villain

Jeremy Davies has been cast in FX cop drama Justified, playing the year's antagonist for gun-slingin' U.S Marshall Raylan Givens (Timothy Olyphant). Davies will play a man recently released from prison called Dickie Bennett -- "the smartest of three brothers and a high school rival of Givens". The backstory is that the Bennett and Givens families have warred since the days of Prohibition, and Dickie even walks with a limp after a fight with Raylan when they were teenagers. Davies is an idiosyncratic actor recognizable from movies like Saving Private Ryan and Solaris, who recently enjoyed a huge popularity boost after appearing in ABC's mystery series Lost as twitchy quantum physicist Daniel Faraday. Justified returns to FX next February for a 13-episode run.
