You never know what's coming after hitting 'Next Episode' with Love, Death, and Robots. Everything from the art direction to the completely bonkers storylines will keep you far too engaged to leave Netflix without at least getting a little peek of what's in store. They avoid cliches at every turn, always electing to get inventive instead of comfortable.

LDR embraces its anthology component through-and-through by grouping all of these episodes into one package, even though all of them feel like they belong to a completely separate franchise/series. The show is its own kind of rollercoaster as it'll put you through a wide range of emotions and provide something fresh in each short. While the criticism for the show's occasional overindulgence does impede on its quality, it also represents how free the creative minds behind it were.

No matter what you feel about a creative product, there's something about an evident lack of creative compromise that always makes it feel special.
