Love Island: 10 Reasons To Still Be Excited For Season 7
3. Iain Stirling's Commentary
Iain Stirling to Love Island is what Ant & Dec are to I’m A Celebrity (Get Me Out of Here). They are both brilliantly comical and the show wouldn’t be the same without them. Stirling has come a long way from being a children’s entertainer on CBBC to now working on bigger, more mature projects such as ITV2’s CelebAbility and of course working as a presenter on Love Island.
But Iain does more than just narrate what’s happening on the show, he goes much further to properly engage with the series' narrative and is able to add some much-needed witty banter and delectable mockery towards the contestants. Even in some of the weaker episodes, Iain has always been able to salvage it with his jokes.
It is fair to admit not all of the great aspects of Love Island (drama, big personalities etc.) stay consistent but one thing that is guaranteed with every series is Iain Stirling’s natural sense of humour which enriches the show to be more entertaining.
