Later in the episode, we witness a flashback of Misty and her deceased former partner Rafael Scarfe (Frank Whaley) paying Cockroach a visit, where Scarfe plants a snubnosed .38 caliber weapon in his apartment in order to place him under arrest.

Misty mockingly tells Cockroach, "You got 38 problems and a b**** ain't one", referring to a similar line from Jay Z's iconic rap hit, "99 Problems."

Unfortunately for Misty, her smarmy demeanour isn't quite so satisfying as she thinks back on it in light of Scarfe's death and his dying admission to his corrupt actions.

13. The Hulk

When Luke ends up appearing at Piranha's swanky shindig in order to pay a $100,000 legal settlement to Cockroach, he find himself hassled by drunk revellers who want to take selfies and smash glass bottles over his head.

One of the degenerates asks him, "Who's tougher, you or the green monster?" and the guy's pal reminds him, "That's not his name!"

The guys are, of course, quite clearly referring to The Hulk, but because fully namedropping the superhero would be a little too obvious, we get this thinly-veiled nod instead.

But seriously, what would happen if these two ever collided?
