MacGyver Season 3: 6 Ups & 2 Downs From 'Bravo Lead + Loyalty + Friendship'

5. The Pop Culture References

MacGyver Riley Leanna

MacGyver is never one to shy away from humour. In fact, it rather encourages it, which is something we don't see very often in a series of this nature. In MacGyver's case, the comedy is often delightful, offering viewers a much-needed reprieve from the heavy storylines that the show deals with each week. This particular episode gives viewers plenty to smile about, and the pop culture references are at the very top of that list.

What's more, the use of such references really aid Leanna's integration into the group. The newcomer fits in really well alongside our usual nerds, and if Bravo Lead + Loyalty + Friendship proves anything, it's that the secret agent is just as compelling as the regular characters.
