MacGyver Season 3 Premiere: 8 Ups & 2 Downs From 'Improvise'

1. Jill's Death

As noted earlier, there's one tiny problem with Improvise's brilliant cliffhanger, and that is that it seems to have resulted in Jill's death. While this would've been something of a travesty no matter when it occurred, the fact that the character's screen time had been significantly increased during this episode makes it much worse.

Jill appears to have been promoted during Mac's absence from the Phoenix Foundation, and she was seen doing a Riley-esque job during the earlier part of the episode. As a character, Jill had a lot of potential, and if she has been killed in Improvise, then it's a real shame, because she (as well as actress Kate Bond) had much more to give the show.
