Mad Men: 10 Worst Things Don Draper Did

1. Lying About Tobacco

This may not be directly Don's fault, but his wife and millions of people across America now have lung cancer. Much of this is a result of Don, or people like Don, lying through advertising and the press. During a pitch to Lucky Strike in the very first episode, the cigarette industry looks down on it's knees. Hemmed in by advertising regulations, it seems the party is over. That is, until Don Draper steps in. An opportunity, he calls it. His stroke of genius in coming up with the line 'It's Toasted' earns the tobacco company millions of dollars, and inadvertently results in the deaths of millions. Of course, some time later, Don changes his tune and writes an article exposing the tobacco industry. He later admits though that this was for business reasons, not due to a random bout of altruism guilt. As the last episode approaches, with his wife now terminally ill, it looks like he'll finally have to take some responsibility. Which is your favourite evil Don Draper moment?
