4. The Plot Looks Incredibly Surreal

One of the biggest draws from the trailer looks to be the surreal nature of the plot, which sees the characters travelling together through a series of dream-like hallucinations.

One of the promotional images Netflix has released shows the pair dressed in 1920s attire and looks to be indicative of the show’s main plot device. From the trailer the series of situations they find themselves in look increasingly bizarre, including becoming politicians in a Dr. Strangelove-style war room and characters in Game of Thrones-esque fantasy land.

This will enable the show to go to anywhere, providing almost limitless opportunities for both character development and exciting set-pieces which are sure to provide some stunning visuals for the show.
